Tour players can test golf shafts any time, anywhere. For everyone else, it’s a challenge. It’s a risk to buy a new driver shaft, have it built, and hope that it works. So we created a way for golfers to test shafts like a tour player. Without the risk.
How the Tour Testing Program Works

Complete a GEARS Fitting
Answer four questions and we'll recommend two driver shafts for you to test. We're quite sure one of them will be your new gamer.

Tell us your driver head
We’ll send your shafts with the correct adapters. We currently support Callaway, Cobra, Ping, Srixon, TaylorMade, and Titleist. Your shafts arrive with standard grips.

Enter your card at checkout
You pay $0 today. Your two demo shafts ship with a prepaid return label in the box. When your test ends and your return shipment is checked in, you're charged $325 per shaft you keep, plus a $29 non-refundable shipping fee. There is no obligation to purchase a shaft.

Our research-grade data pointed to a truth we couldn't ignore: torque is the most important part of shaft performance, and it doesn't work the way a lot of people think it does.
Lower torque shafts create draw bias. Higher torque creates fade bias.
We robot tested to confirm, created prototype shafts for player testing, and realized we could help a lot of golfers play better.

Most graphite shafts are made by hand, kind of like rolling a cigar. It's very difficult to create the exact same shaft twice. Tour players know it. It's why they get superstitious about keeping the exact one that tested well.
